Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater

One of the most beautiful buildings in the world is the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater. It was built in 1873 according to the design of the French architect Tom de Thomon. The fire in 1873 almost completely destroyed the complex. In 1884, it was decided to reconstruct the building. The project was given to Viennese architects Ferdinand Fellner and Herman Helmer. The complex was designed in the Baroque style, with a share of the French Rococo and Italian Renaissance.
